Party central committee to hold vote of confidence on top Party members
VGP – The 13thParty Central Committee is set to hold a vote of confidence on members of the Political Bureau and members of the Secretariat during their mid-term meeting from May 15-17.

The top Party members include Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Vo Van Thuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and Chairman of the National Assembly.
During the three-day conference, the Party Central Committee is also expected to discuss reports on the leadership of the Political Bureau and the Secretariat since the 13th Party National Congress held in January 2021.
This meeting is of significant importance as it will conduct comprehensive review of the outcomes and shortcomings, identify lessons learnt since the beginning of this tenure and analyze arising opportunities and challenges in order to chart major orientations and policies for the second half of the tenure./.
