Party Central Committee agrees for four members to step down

These members are Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai who was former Government Inspector General, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh who was former Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Ky, and Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Chau Van Lam.

They were found to have violated the Party's rules and anti-corruption legislation, according to an announcement released following the meeting.

Also at the meeting, the Party Central Committee elected President To Lam as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee./.
