OOG delegation welcomed by Lao top leaders

VGP – Lao PM Bouasone Bouphavanh and Vice President Bounnhang Vorachit on Thursday welcomed the visiting Vietnamese delegation led by Minister-Chairman of the Office of Government (OOG) Nguyễn Xuân Phúc in Vientiane.

The host leaders praised the visit made by Mr. Phúc and his entourage, saying it would help cement the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Việt Nam and Laos.

They expressed their belief that the relations between the OOG and the Lao Prime Minister’s Office (PMO_ of would be pushed to a higher plane for better performance of the two governments.

On the same day, Minister-Chairman OOG Nguyễn Xuân Phúc and Lao Minister to the PMO, Chief of the Government Secretariats Cheuang Sombounkhan had talks to deliberate ways to diversify the relations between the two offices.

Mr. Cheuang Sombounkhan suggested the two offices organize topical workshops and seminars for exchanging experience of office work.

Cultural, sports and tourist activities should be conducted for the staff of the two offices to strengthen their relation as well as the Laos-Việt Nam friendship in general.

Mr. Phúc agreed to send his staff who can help Laos renovate State-owned enterprises and economic corporations, promote administrative reforms, and build the Government Web Portal and e-Government development.

Mr. Phúc and his counterpart Cheuang Sombounkhan signed a document on cooperation between the two offices.
