Only credit organizations allowed to trade forex: Central bank governor

Nguyen told legislators on Monday when she was questioned on current forex management situation and measures to deal with illegal forex trading activities in Viet Nam.

No other individuals or organizations have been licensed to trade forex, added the Governor.

So far, the central bank has not granted any licenses to forex trading floors, she affirmed.

She called on citizens and businesses to perform forex transactions via credit organizations to avoided being scammed.

Regarding measures to boost the development of real estate market , Nguyen said the central bank has promulgated several circulars to facilitate real estate companies' access to new loans./.
