One more COVID-19 infection case confirmed, total rises to 326
VGP – A 20-year-old female student returning from France became the latest COVID-19 case in Viet Nam, raising the country’s patient tally to 326, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
The patient was among passengers on flight VN008 landing at the HCMC-based Tan Son Nhat International Airport on May 24.
She was immediately taken to to a centralized quarantine camp in Hoc Mon District upon arrival and had her sample tested the same day.
She is being treated at the HCMC Cu Chi field hospital.
As of 6pm on Monday, 272 patients had been cleared of COVID-19, sending the recovery rate to 84%, said the Ministry of Health.
The nation is also medically monitoring 15,412 people who have been in close contact with the infected cases or come from the pandemic-striken areas./.
