One more COVID-19 case confirmed, Thanh Hoa bans non-essential services
VGP – A resident in Thanh Hoa Province was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on Friday morning, bringing the national caseload to 3,091.

The latest patient is a 42-year-old man who came in close contact with five Chinese experts. Two of the Chinese nationals had tested positive for COVID-19 after completing 14-day mandatory quarantine in Yen Bai Province.
Right after detecting this case, the local leaders decided to ban non-essential services like bars, karaoke and massage parlors, spas, gym clubs and internet cafes from May 7 until next announcement.
Among the national tally, 1,691 are community infections, including 121 cases in 14 cities and provinces since April 27./.
