The Ha Noi Department of Transport and the Ha Noi Transport Management Center are working together to rearrange bus routes and nearby parking stops for the upcoming metro line.

The Nhon – Ha Noi Station metro project covers a total distance of 12.5 kilometers and includes eight elevated and four underground stations.

Upon completion, trains will run every 7.5 minutes with each train carrying up to 950 passengers.

Earlier, the 8.5km elevated section was planned to be finished in April 2021 and the remaining 4km underground section was set to be opened in December 2022.

The Cat Linh – Ha Dong metro line, the first in Viet Nam, served more than 2.65 million passengers in the first quarter of this year, up 262 percent year-on-year./.
