New regulations on health warnings on cigarette packs
VGP – The Government has issued Decree 77/2013/ND-CP to detail the implementation of the Law on prevention and control of tobacco harms.

Under the Decree, the Ministry of Health is assigned to coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and other relevant ministries, agencies and localities to supervise and evaluate the implementation of regulations on health warnings on cigarette packs.
Particularly, the Ministry of Health is responsible for proposing the increase of surface area for health warnings on cigarette packs to the Government.
The Decree also stipulates the conditions for organizations and individuals to establish facilities providing tobacco cessation consultation services./.
