New Foreign Ministry Spokesperson appointed

VGP – Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh has recently appointed Ms. Le Thi Thu Hang as head of the Press and Information Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and Foreign Ministry Spokesperson.

New Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang

Mr. Le Hai Binh, the former MoFA Spokesperson was appointed to be a Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam.

Ms. Hang is the fourth female spokesperson in the MoFA following her predecessors of Ho The Lan, Phan Thuy Thanh, and Nguyen Phuong Nga.

Incoming spokesperson Hang said she hopes the press will continue working with the Foreign Ministry in updating the world on information about Viet Nam. She affirmed that she is open to the media’s opinions so as to serve the country as good as possible.

The same day, Mr. To Anh Dung was designated as an assistant of the MoFA Minister cum Head of the Staff Organization Department.  

Mr. Nguyen Minh Vu was appointed as an assistant of the MoFA Minister cum Head of the Consular Department./.
