The disbursement of public investment capital will be accelerated to support ministries, sectors and local administrations remove obstacles in site clearance, and supervise the working pace of contractors and consultants in key projects of national and sectoral importance.

The ministry also targets to decentralize management of project management boards and organize monthly online meetings with project management boards of key projects to timely handle any arising problems, and regularly conduct site inspection.

In 2023, Viet Nam started construction of 26 transport projects and completed construction of nine expressways a length of 475km, raising the total length of the national expressway network to 1,892km.
