Under the theme of “Quang Nam – Green Tourist Destination,” the 2022 National Tourism Year comprised 212 events.

The successful organization of the 2022 National Tourism Year contributed to the post-Covid-19 recovery of the national tourism sector which served 3.5 million foreign visitors and  101.3 million local tourists.

Quang Nam lured nearly 4.8 million visitors, up 13 times against last year and earned VND 3.8 trillion of revenue.

This year, Viet Nam set a target of serving 65 million tourists, including 5 million international visitors, and earning a total revenue of VND 4 trillion (US$175 million).

Quang Nam was selected for hosting the National Tourism Year 2022, thanks to its rich history and cultural traditions, with important geopolitical and geo-economics sites, as well as its distinctive natural landscapes such as Bay Mau water coconut forest and Cu Lao Cham Biosphere Reserve.

Particularly, the province is home to two cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO – Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary./.
