National Assembly to mull over amendments to 2013 Constitution
VGP – The National Assembly will debate amendments to the 2013 Constitution during its 9th working session scheduled to open on May 5.
The legislative body will consider and approve 13 bills to create legal foundations for continued rearrangement of the political system, including Law on Organization of Local Administrations (revised); Law amending and supplementing several articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents; Law on Cadres and Civil Servants (revised); Law on Inspection (revised); Law amending and supplementing several articles of the Law on Planning; Law on election of deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils (revised); Law amending and supplementing several articles of the Law on Organization of People's Courts; Law amending and supplementing several articles of the Law on Viet Nam Fatherland Front; Law amending and supplementing several articles of the Law on Handling Administrative Violations; Law amending and supplementing several articles of the Law on Viet Nam Fatherland Front, Law on Trade Unions and Law on Youth; Law amending and supplementing several articles of the Civil Procedure Code, Law on Meditation and Dialogue at Court, Law on Justice for Minors, and Law on Bankruptcy; Law amending and supplementing several articles of the Criminal Procedure Code.
The National Assembly will consider and approve other 11 bills, including Law on State Budget (revised); Law on Atomic Energy (revised); Law amending and supplementing several articles of the Law on Economical and efficient Use of Energy; Law on Enterprises (revised).
The legislative body will also decide on merger of several localities, establishment of National Election Council, amendments to national land use planning for 2021-2030, vision to 2050, investment policy for Quy Nhon-Pleiku expressway construction project./.
