National Assembly discusses five major road projects
VGP - These projects are Ring Road 4 in Ha Noi; Ring Road 3 in Ho Chi Minh City, Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway, Khanh Hoa-Buon Ma Thuot Expressway, and Chau Doc-Can Tho-Soc Trang Expressway.
The above projects were submitted by the Government to the Legislature on Monday.
The Ring Road 4 in Ha Noi and Ring Road 3 in Ho Chi Minh are expected to help reduce transport pressure for the two metropolises and strengthen connectivity between the two cities and nearby localities.
Specifically, Ring Road 4 project has a total length of 112.8 kilometers, including 103.1-kilometer of the ring road and 9.7 kilometers of an access road in the direction of the Noi Bai – Ha Long expressway.
The Ring Road 3 project has a total length of 76.34-kilometers, including 47.51 kilometers in HCMC, 11.26 kilometers in Dong Nai, 10.76 kilometers in Binh Duong and 6.81 kilometers in Long An.
Meanwhile, Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway has a total length of 53.7 kilometers, connecting Bien Hoa City and Cai Mep-Thi Vai Seaport with an initial first phase designed to have four to six lanes.
Khanh Hoa-Buon Ma Thuot Expressway is a 117-kilometer long, connecting Buon Ma Thuot City and Nam Van Phong Seaport with four lanes.
Chau Doc-Can Tho-Soc Trang Expressway project passes through the Mekong Delta’s Can Tho city and the three provinces of An Giang, Hau Giang, and Soc Trang, with total length of 188 kilometers./.
