More than 11,000 Party members disciplined in first half
VGP – Inspection authorities at all levels handed punishments to 308 Party organizations and 11,005 Party members in the first six months of 2024, the Party Central Committee's Commission for Internal Affairs announced Wednesday.
Meanwhile, 47 officials received disciplinary penalties issued by the Party Central Committee, the Political Bureau and the Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission, according to a statement on the website of the Central Commission for Internal Affairs.
Also in the first half, five Politburo members, one member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat and four members of the Party Central Committee had to step down for violations of Party's regulations and code of conduct, said the statement.
