General Director of Kim Long Motor Dao Viet Anh hands over the first electric bus to General Director of Daon Mobility Jeong Ha Neul in Hue City, June 2, 2025

This is part of an agreement signed between the two companies last April, under which Kim Long Motor would export 200 made-in-Viet Nam buses annually to be used for tour services and by schools in South Korea.

The local carmaker's N23-EV model model has a beautiful, luxurious, and quite neat and eye-catching design, allowing the vehicle to move flexibly, safely and effectively in crowded streets, residential areas or schools.

Although the length is up to 7.5 m, this bus model is designed with a maximum capacity of 22 passengers, suitable for exploiting tours and picking up and dropping off students in major cities in South Korea.

The bus model is quipped with Dongfeng Dana axle system, a brand that applies advanced technology from the United States, currently used on more than 90% of commercial vehicles worldwide.

In addition, the vehicle is integrated with advanced safety systems including: Electronic brake system (EBS), advanced emergency braking system (AEBS), Auto Hold system combined with electronic handbrake and hill start assist (HSA), and electronic balance system (ESC) to help the vehicle always maintain stability in all public traffic conditions.

The vehicle is also equipped with a lane departure warning system (LDWS), collision sensors, anti-jamming automatic doors and a warning feature when passengers get on/off the vehicle. The smart journey monitoring system allows parents and schools to track travel schedules, contributing to improving safety and peace of mind during vehicle operation.

In particular, the vehicle is powered by Lithium Polymer battery from SK (South Korea), with a capacity of 170 kW and a range of up to 310 km per charge. This is an optimal solution to help save operating costs, reduce emissions and is in line with the green transformation orientation in the Korean transportation sector.

Dao Viet Anh, General Director of Kim Long Motor shared: "We are extremely proud that the first 'Made in Viet Nam' electric bus is officially available in South Korea - a market famous for its strict standards of quality and technology. This is not only an important milestone for Kim Long Motor, but also a historical milestone for the Vietnamese automobile industry. This event proves that Viet Nam has completely mastered high technology and confidently competes in the international market".

Meanwhile, Jeong Ha Neul, General Director of Daon Mobility said he and his colleagues were completely convinced when he saw and experienced the KimLong N23-EV electric bus model with his own eyes.

The vehicle not only met our expectations in terms of design, features and performance, but also brought an impressive practical experience, fully meeting the strict standards of the Korean market, said Jeong.

The KimLong N23-EV is the perfect piece in the strategy of developing green, convenient, modern and safe transportation that Daon Mobility is aiming for in the near future, he noted.

The KimLong N23-EV pure electric bus model will officially be available in Korea in June this year and put into operation in major cities such as Seoul, Incheon and Busan..., marking the strong presence of Kim Long Motor on the world automobile industry map./.
