The festival targets to preserve and revive the valuable, ancient art of love duet singing, or “Quan Họ”, recognized one year ago by UNESCO as the world’s intangible cultural heritage.

The festival will last for two days at Nội Duệ and Liên Bão communes, and Lim town. Especially, Lim Hill is the cultural center of the festival.

According to the organizing board, the ceremony section did not comprise big group procession like in the past.

On the festival section, the singers would not use electronic instruments, as they would like to follow the traditional style of love duets.

Moreover, visitors can enjoy watching many folk games such as swinging, wrestling, cock-fighting, blind-man’s-buff, and rice cooking competition./.
