Legislators confirm two new Deputy Prime Ministers
VGP - Legislators on Saturday confirmed Pham Thi Thanh Tra and Ho Quoc Dung as new Deputy Prime Ministers for the 2021-2026 tenure.

Pham Thi Thanh Tra, aged 61, was promoted to the new role from her previous position as Minister of Home Affairs.
Meanwhile, Ho Quoc Dung, aged 59, was promoted to his new role from his previous position as Secretary of the former Binh Dinh Party Committee.
The Cabinet is led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh who is assisted by nine Deputy Prime Ministers: Nguyen Hoa Binh, Tran Hong Ha, Le Thanh Long, Ho Duc Phoc, Bui Thanh Son, Nguyen Chi Dung, Mai Van Chinh, Pham Thi Thanh Tra, and Ho Quoc Dung.
Pham Thi Thanh Tra is the first female Deputy Prime Minister in Viet Nam.

The same day, law-makers also confirmed Le Hoai Trung, Do Thanh Binh, and Tran Duc Thang as new Cabinet Ministers.
Le Hoai Trung was confirmed as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Do Thanh Binh as Minister of Home Affairs, and Tran Duc Thang as Minister of Agriculture and Environment./.
