Leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh ahead of National Reunification Day

VGP - Top Vietnamese leaders on Tuesday paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Ha Noi on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975-2026).

Prominent among them were General Secretary, President To Lam, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, Permanent member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and President of the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai.

The delegation expressed their profound gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh's great contributions to the nation's revolution cause.

On the occasion, the leaders also laid flowers and offered incense at the Monument for Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son street near the mausoleum.

The same day, delegations from the Central Military Commission - the Ministry of National Defense, the Central Public Security Commission - the Ministry of Public Security, as well as the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Ha Noi paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and laid flowers at the Monument for Heroic Martyrs./.
