Leaders congratulate Russia on National Day
VGP – Party General Secretary, State President Nguyen Phu Trong cabled a congratulatory message to Russian President V. Putin on the occasion of Russia Day (June 12).
The same day, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc cabled a congratulatory message to Prime Minister D. Medvedev.
According to the messages, the leaders expressed the pleasure to witness the great achievements which Russia has attained at international arena. In 2019, the two countries will mark the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on fundamental principles of Viet Nam-Russia friendly ties. Viet Nam was convinced that on the basis of the traditional ties, abundant potentials, cooperative experiences over the past decades, high determination of leaders and people, the Viet Nam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership would flourish in all fields, contributing to respective growth.
On this occasion, Deputy PM, FM also conveyed a message of greetings to Russian FM S. Lavrov./.
