Lao Prime Minister starts two-day visit to Viet Nam
VGP – Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone and his entourage arrived in Ha Noi this morning, starting a two-day official visit to Viet Nam.

Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone is the first foreign leader to visit Viet Nam in 2024.
He is accompanied by General Chansamone Chanyalath, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense; Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Saleumxay Kommasith; Minister of Planning and Investment, Chairman of the Laos-Viet Nam Committee for Cooperation Khamjane Vongphosy; Minister-Chairman of the Lao Prime Minister's Office Alounxai Sounnalath; Minister of Industry and Trade Malaithong Kommasith; Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism Suanesavanh Vignaket; Minister of Energy and Mining Phosay Sayasone; Minister of Education and Sports Phout Simmalavong; Minister of Finance Santiphab Phomvihane; Minister of Technology and Information; Governor of State Bank Bounleua Sinxayvoravong; Minister of Public Works and Transport Ngampasong Muongmany; Deputy Minister of Public Security Kongthong Phongvichit; and Lao Ambassador to Viet Nam Ernthavanh.
During his stay, Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone will hold talks with his Vietnamese counterpart, co-chair the 46th meeting of the Viet Nam-Laos Inter-governmental Committee and meet with other senior Vietnamese leaders./.
