Land rent in 2022 cut by 30% for those hit by pandemic
VGP - The Government has decided to reduce land and water surface rent by 30 percent in 2022 for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Resolution No. 07/NQ-CP, the beneficiaries include organizations, units, enterprises, households, and individuals who directly lease land from the State under competent State agencies' decisions or contracts and make rent payment annually.
Earlier, land rent for 2021 for subjects affected by the COVID-19 pandemic was also slashed by 30 percent. The reduction is not applied to the rent in previous years that hasn't been paid or rent arrears.
