As many as 90% of the US business managers involving business development strategy revealed that their business operation in high-growth and emerging markets (HGEM) are propitious as shown in the increase in the revenues over the past year.

Beside the BRIC countries (namely Brazil, Russia, India and China), business executives have been increasingly interested in new markets like Chile, the Philippines, Argentina, Indonesia and Viet Nam over the past few years, the survey shows.

The number of companies planning to pour at least US$5 million in Viet Nam in the next 12 months increased from 7% to 9%.

There is a restoration of business confidence again, a long-term spectacular sign in HGEM countries, especially Viet Nam, noted Mr. Warrick Cleine, CEO of KPMG in Viet Nam.
