The Japanese Peace Boat is an international non-governmental organization of Japan, commencing its operation from 1983. Its mandate is to speed up the protection of peace through organizing journeys for the peace. This is the 35th time the Peace Boat has docked in Da Nang port in its 80th journey around the world.

This year, the Peace Boat has conducted many practical activities such as exchanging with agent orange victims and city’s young people, increasing awareness and sharing of the youth to war victims and others./.
