Infographic: Updated on COVID-19 risk levels by localities
VGP - Forty-one localities are categorized as "green zone" while the rest of 22 others "yellow zone" in the latest update on COVID-19 risk levels, according to the Ministry of Health.
None of localities are listed in “orange and red zones” which are the most dangerous risk levels in Viet Nam in line with provincial-level disease risk levels stipulated in the Government’s Resolution 128.
The green zone comprises An Giang, Binh Duong, Binh Thuan, Bac Giang, Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Ca Mau, Ha Giang, Ha Nam, Hai Duong, HCMC, Kien Giang, Kon Tum, Lai Chau, Long An, Lao Cai, Lang Son, Nghe An, Ninh Thuan, Phu Tho, Phu Yen, Quang Binh, Quang Ninh, Soc Trang, Son La, Tuyen Quang, Thai Binh, Thai Nguyen, Tien Giang, Dien Bien, Yen Bai, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Ha Noi, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Binh Dinh, Ben Tre, Can Tho, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Binh and Ninh Thuan.
Meanwhile, yellow-zone consists of Binh Phuc, Bac Lieu, Bac Ninh, Gia Lai, Hoa Binh, Ha Tinh, Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Hau Giang, Lam Dong, Nam Dinh, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Quang Tri, Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien-Hue, Tay Ninh, Vinh Long, Vinh Phuc, Da Nang, Dak Lak, and Dak Nong.
Viet Nam reported over 107,000 new cases of COVID-19 during the Tet holiday running from January 29 to February 6 while 162,471 patients were declared free of the virus.
During the nine-day break holiday, 715,892 doses of vaccines were administered, bringing the total number to more 182 million.
