How to apply for e-visa to enter Viet Nam
VGP – Since August 15, 2023, all foreigners can apply for e-visa to visit Viet Nam regardless of their nationality.
All necessary information on e-visa is already available on e-visa website https://evisa.gov.vn/ managed by the Immigration Department under the Ministry of Public Security.
The website provides general information on Viet Nam's e-visa policy, instructions for e-visa application, list of border gates designed by the Government for entry and exit with e-visa, and frequently asked questions.
E-visa issued by Viet Nam shall be valid for maximum of 90 days, single or multiple entry.
Foreigners who are citizens of countries that are unilaterally exempted from visas by Viet Nam when entering Viet Nam will be granted a 45-day temporary residence certificate.
Foreigners who are exempted from visas according to international treaties to which Viet Nam is a member, the temporary stay period shall be granted according to the provisions of the international treaty, if the international treaty does not stipulate Temporary residence period is granted for 30 days./.
