Housing prices increase by 10-15% annually, says construction ministry

Speaking at the 4th meeting of the Central Steering Committee for housing and real estate market on Wednesday, Minister of Construction Nguyen Hong Minh said there are 3,297 social and commercial housing projects nationwide with total investment capital of VND7.43 trillion, providing 5.9 apartments and houses.

Since 2022, the real estate market has gradually recovered, with transactions rising across various segments to around 537,000-875,000 per year, said the minister.

Total foreign direct investment inflows to the real estate sector soared by 15.2 percent to US$5.18 billion in the first eight months this year, he added./.
