Head of Swiss National Council to pay official visit to Viet Nam
VGP - President of the National Council of Switzerland Martin Cardinas will pay an official visit to Viet Nam from June 27-30, according to the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of Viet Nam.

The visit will be made at the invitation of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.
Switzerland is always an important, reliable partner of Viet Nam, Swiss Ambassador to Viet Nam Thomas Gass said at a reception hosted by Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue in Ha Noi on June 16.
The two countries’ legislative leaders are scheduled to hold talks, during which they will discuss ways to speed up negotiations on a free trade agreement between Viet Nam and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), comprising Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
The visit by the President of the Swiss National Council is expected to help push ahead the FTA between Viet Nam and the EFTA, the Ambassador said./.
