HCMC reports 14,800 pediatric patients with COVID-19
VGP – There have been 14,800 children infected with COVID-19 in Ho Chi Minh City since the beginning of this year, according to Deputy Director of the Municipal Department of Health Nguyen Huu Hung.

The total includes 12,000 recoveries and 13 deaths, most of them had underlying health conditions, including cancer, Nguyen told reporters at a press briefing on Wednesday afternoon.
At present, more than 2,800 pediatric patients are under treatment, he added.
Ho Chi Minh City is the epicenter of Viet Nam’s fourth COVID-19 wave, with 273,674 infection cases, followed by Binh Duong (141,810), Dong Nai (31,213), and Long An (26,849)./.
