Ha Noi approves first underground car parking facility in Old Quarters

The two-storey facility is located beneath Phung Hung-Bat Dan Flower Garden in Hoan Kiem Ward, covering an area of 2,160 m2.

The motorcycle parking area on the first basement level will cover some 380 square meters, accommodating some 110 motorbikes.Meanwhile, the second basement will span about 1,584 square meters, providing space for nearly 268 cars through an automated parking system.

The parking facility will also incorporate electric vehicle charging stations.

By 2030, the capital city plans to build 78 underground parking facilities with total area of 104ha. These facilities will have maximum five basements./.
