These bills are: Law on Organization of the Government (revised), Law on Organization of Local Administrations (revised), Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents (revised), and Law on Participation in UN-led Peacekeeping Operations.

The draft resolutions are: Resolution on establishment of several ministries of the 15th Government, Resolution on structure and members of the 16th Government, Resolution on addressing issues related to rearrangement of the apparatus.

These documents were brought to discussion on Tuesday at a Cabinet meeting presided by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

Addressing the meeting, Pham requested relevant ministries and agencies to focus on finalizing these bills and resolutions in the directions of cutting all unnecessary procedures and stepping up power decentralization.

The Prime Minister stressed that all rights of the central Government and local Administrations must be specified fully in the new Law on Organization of the Government and the new Law on Organization of Local Administrations.

The three resolutions aim to address issues arising in the process of streamlining and rearranging the apparatus of the executive branch of the political system./.
