Gov't sets up working group to accelerate Viet Nam-Japan economic cooperation projects
VGP – The Government has decided to establish a coordinating working group, led by the Minister of Planning and Investment, to accelerate key economic cooperation projects between Viet Nam and Japan.
Members of the working group include representatives from the Government Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Health, the Commission for Management of State Capital at Enterprises, Ha Noi National University, and the provincial/municipal People's Committees of Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Son La, Yen Bai, Ha Giang, Dien Bien, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Lang Son, Hau Giang, and Can Tho.
The working group shall be responsible for putting forward orientations and solutions for interdisciplinary problems related to key economic cooperation projects between Viet Nam and Japan.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment shall be the standing agency of the working group.
Viet Nam and Japan have become important economic partners. Japan is Viet Nam's largest provider of official development assistance, second largest partner in labor cooperation, third in investment and tourism, and fourth in trade./.
