Gov’t sets up working group for railway projects connecting with China, Laos
VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has decided to set up a working group for railways projects connecting with China and Laos
The working group will be headed by the Minister of Transport.
The working group has three deputy heads who are Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Minister of Transport.
Members of the working group include leaders of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and representatives from the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of National Defense.
The working group is responsible for assisting the Prime Minister in addressing interdisciplinary tasks related to the implementation of railway investment projects connecting with China and Laos.
It is tasked to put forward mechanism and policies to ensure successful implementation of railway investment projects with China and Laos, especially the Lao Cai-Ha Noi-Hai Phong railway project./.
