In the lattest public telegram, the Government chief stressed that all dilapidated housesof families of martyrs and people with meritorious services must be rebuilt before July 27.

Relevant ministries and sectors were tasked to mobilize funding from the society and two national target programs, which are set to begin in 2025.

Agencies and units are required to consolidate the funding needs and report to the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs and Religious Affairs by June 15.

Localities must mobilize all resources and speed up the process of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in their areas. The remaining houses that have not been built must all begin construction by June 20, to ensure completion by August 31.

So far, over 205,000 temporary and dilapidated houses had been rebuilt with more than 147,000 houses completed and over 58,000 houses under construction or about to begin. Twenty-one out of 63 localities no longer have any temporary or dilapidated houses.

The body is in charge of putting forward concrete solutions and measures to achieve the goal of eradicating all temporary and dilapidated houses by December 31, 2025.

The Government estimated that around 170,000 houses need to be rebuilt for people with meritorious service to the revolution, for beneficiaries of the three national target programs, and for poor and near-poor households./.
