Gov't asks for quicker disbursement for WB-invested projects
VGP – Deputy PM Hoàng Trung Hải has urged relevant ministries and agencies to step up disbursement for some World Bank-funded projects.

The Deputy PM on Thursday asked the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) to report the implementation process of these projects.
As of late February, there were 46 ongoing projects funded by the WB with the total pledged capital of US $7.4 billion. However, a large number of them were slowly disbursed.
Mr. Hải also asked the MPI to early work with WB in Việt Nam to speed up the disbursement progress.
Meanwhile, relevant agencies and localities are in charge of providing early warnings of sluggish projects for proper solutions./.
