Gov't approves public debt management plan for 2022-2024
VGP – Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai signed Decision No. 448/QD-TTg approving a plan on public debt management for 2022-2024 and public debt payment for 2022.

The Government plans to keep total public debt for 2022-2024 at around US$89 billion
The plan aims to diversify financial resources and ways to mobilize domestic and foreign loans to ensure state budget balance.
It also targets to strictly control debt safety indexes to ensure that they are in line with the limits capped by the National Assembly.
The total debt for the 2022-2024 period will be kept at less than VND2,044 trillion (US$89 billion) while debt payment volume stands about VND1,116 trillion (US$48 billion).
The Government planned to pay debt worth more than VND335,815 billion (over US$14 billion) this year./.
