Germany removes Viet Nam from COVID-19 high risk list
VGP - Germany's Robert Koch-Institute (RKI) has recently removed 60 countries and territories across the world, including Viet Nam, from the list of the countries that are highly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Accordingly, from March 3, 2022, passengers entering Germany from Viet Nam are exempted from 10-day home quarantine and skip online medical declaration.
However, all travelers aged 12 or over must present a negative test result or certificates proving they have been fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19.
Viet Nam has resumed regular flights to Germany since January 26, 2022. Since February 8, Viet Nam Airlines has operated flights to Germany on two routes.
Germany classified Viet Nam as one of the high-risk COVID-19 areas from August 15, 2021, thus passengers from Viet Nam entering Germany had been requested to test for SARS-CoV-2 following the RT-PCR method before their flight, make online health declarations, and be quarantined for 10 days after entry./.
