To conveyed his greetings and best wishes to General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping and other senior Chinese leaders, expressing his appreciation for China's decision to send Zhao to attend the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day as well as the neighboring country's decision to send a military delegation to participate in the military parade marking the anniversary.
General Secretary To affirmed that the Party, State and people of Viet Nam always bear in mind the great and wholehearted asisstance from the Communist Party of China and Chinese people to Viet Nam over the past glorious 80-year journey.
Despite profound changes across the globe, the two countries have maintained stability and development and the relations between the two Parties and the two countries have yielded remarkable gains, noted the top Party leader.
He affirmed that Viet Nam always considers developing relations with China as an objective requirement, a strategic choice and a top priority in Viet Nam's overall foreign policy of indepedence, self-reliance, diversification and multilateralization of external affairs and "four nos" defense policy.
To suggested the two countries continue consolidating political trust and strategic coordination, building trusted and sincere political relations between the top leaders of the two Parties and States.
Both sides should also improve the effectiveness of cooperation mechanisms, especially in the areas of diplomacy, defense and public security while deepening cooperation between the two legislative bodies.
Regarding the East Sea issue, General Secretary To Lam suggested both sides continue to control and settle differences well, respect each other's legitimate interests, and work together to maintain the peaceful and stable environment in favor of national development in each country./.
