General Secretary To spoke highly of President Lee's decision to send his Special Envoy shortly after taking office, which demonstrates the importance that President Lee attaches to the relations with Viet Nam.

Park, for his part, conveyed the greetings from President Lee to General Secretary To and highly valued the robust development of the Viet Nam-South Korea relations across all domains in recent years, especially after the two countries upgraded ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

President Lee always considers Viet Nam as a partner of top importance in South Korea's foreign policy towards Southeast Asia, and wishes to strengthen high-level exchanges and contacts while promoting economic, trade and investment with Viet Nam in a substantive, effective and sustainable manner, according to the Special Envoy.

He also called for Viet Nam's continued support and favourable conditions for Korean businesses to operate and expand investments, particularly in nuclear power and joint response to the shifting global economic and trade landscape.

The top Party leader affirmed Viet Nam always treasures and wishes to further advance cooperative ties with South Korea to new heights in a practical, effective and long-term fashion.

To suggested the two countries work together to boost bilateral cooperation based on the political trust and close partnerships between the two sides' businesses, localities and peoples.

He stressed the need for both sides to intensify scientific and technological cooperation to create a new momentum for the two countries' relationship; foster cooperation in artificial intellligence and data center building in Viet Nam, and implement projects to support high-quality human resource training.

Regarding multilateral cooperation, General Secretary To suggested the two countries continue close coordination and mutual support at multilateral forums in accordance with the two sides' interests, thus contributing to peace, stability and development in the region and the world.

The Korean Special Envoy affirmed that his country will work closely with Viet Nam for the success of the APEC Year 2025 in South Korea and APEC Year 2027 in Viet Nam./.
