To warmly welcomed Sulyok on an official visit to Viet Nam on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries (1950-2025), emphasizing the visit would inject new momentum into the bilateral ties.
On behalf of the Party, State and people of Viet Nam, General Secretary To expressed appreciation for Hungary's wholehearted assistance for Viet Nam's past struggle for national liberation, independence and unification and the current development course.
Viet Nam always attaches importance to the relationship with Hungary – one of the top priority partners in East-Central Europe and expects to further advance the comprehensive partnership between the two countries, affirmed the Vietnamese Party leader.
He also affirmed Viet Nam stands ready to act as a bridge for Hungary to expand cooperation with the Southeast Asia region.
To took the occasion to congratulate Hungary on its achievements in socio-economic development and international integration.

President Sulyok showed his admiration for Viet Nam's great and significant achievements in the Doi moi, affirming that his country always treasures the traditional friendship and good relations with Viet Nam, considering Viet Nam a top partner in Southeast Asia.
The two leaders agreed to continue strengthening political trust and cohesion between the two countries and the two ruling parties, promoting the exchange of delegations at all levels, and fostering cooperation in key pillars such as trade, investment, science and technology, innovation, and education and training.
The two leaders underscored the need to turn defense-security cooperation into a new pillar of the bilateral ties and to boost people-to-people exchanges in order to enhance mutual understanding.
They also agreed to continue close coordination and mutual support at multilateral forums, especially the United Nations and the ASEAN-EU frameworks.
Both sides voiced support for peaceful resolution of disputes on the basis of respect for international law, thus contributing to the maintenance of peace, stability and security in the region and the world./.
