VGP – Former Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan passed away at 7:05 am on Wednesday at the 108 Military Central Hospital in Ha Noi, according to the Central Committee on Health Care for Senior Governmental Officials.

Former Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan
Vu was born on October 7, 1937 in Phu Xuyen District, Ha Noi.
He was a member of the Party Central Committee in the 7th, 8th, 9th tenures; Secretary of the 9th-tenure Party Central Committee.
He was appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in 1990, Minister of Trade in 2000 before serving as Deputy Prime Minister from August 2022 to June 2006.
