Foreign leaders congratulate Viet Nam on 81st National Day

General Secretary and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith, Prime Minister of Laos Sonexay Siphandone, and Acting President of Laos' National Assembly Sounthone Xayachak cabled messages of congratulations to General Secretary and President of Viet Nam To Lam, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, and President of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man.

In their messages, Lao leaders expressed their pride in Viet Nam's great and comprehensive achievements over the past 81 years, emphasizing that these glorious achievements have become an invaluable source of encouragement for Laos' national construction and defense course.

They pledged that the Party, State, and people of Laos will continue close cooperation with the Party, State, and people of Viet Nam in preserving and nurturing the great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation, and strategic cohesion between the two countries for the benefit of the two peoples and for peace, stability, and development in the region and the world.

General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang, and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhao Leji separately cabled message of congratulations to General Secretary and President of Viet Nam To Lam, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, and President of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man.

In their messages, the Chinese leaders congratulated Viet Nam on its socio-economic development achievements and international influence, expressing their belief that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Viet Nam led by General Secretary and President To Lam, Viet Nam will successfully realize the goals set by the 14^th National Party Congress.

In its message of congratulations, the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party spoke highly of Viet Nam's great achievements across fieds and international standing, expressing its belief that the Communist Party of Viet Nam under the leadership of General Secretary and President To Lam will achieve the goal of becoming a high middle-income by 2030 and a high-income country by 2045.

On this occasion, Chairman of the United Russia Party Dmitry Medvedev cabled a message of congratulations to General Secretary To Lam.

General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong-un, Premier of the Cabinet Pak Thae Song extended congratulations to General Secretary and President To Lam, and Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, respectively.

In their messages, the Korean leaders expressed their belief that the two countries' traditional friendship would continue to deepen and expand in line with agreements reached by the two countries' senior leaders.
