Five patients cleared of COVID-19, recovery rate reaches 84%
VGP – Five more patients have been cleared of COVID-19, bringing the recovery rate to 84% (272), the Ministry of Health said minutes ago.
The latest recovered cases included four and one respectively treated at the General Hospital in the Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu and the field hospital no. 2 in the northern province of Quang Ninh.
Patient 277 is a 22-year-old woman, hospitalized on May 7.
Patient 282 is a 37-year-old woman, hospitalized on May 7.
Patient 285 is a 30-year-old woman, hospitalized on May 7.
Patient 286 iss a 23-year-old woman, hospitalized on May 7.
Patient 312 is a 50-year-old woman hospitalized on May 15.
All of them shall continue to be isolated and medically monitored over the next two weeks as currently regulated.
As many as 15,412 people are being put under medical surveillance, including 58 at hospitals, 8,523 at centralized quarantine camps, and 6,831 at places of residence, said the ministry.
Today also marks the 39th consecutive day without new community infection of COVID-19 in the Southeast Asian nation./.
