Five localities remain in “orange zone”
VGP - Five provinces namely Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Phu Tho, Cao Bang, and Yen Bai are labeled as “orange zone” or the third highest COVID-19 risk level in Viet Nam, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said Tuesday.

The ministry also rated 39 provinces and cities as "green zone", or the lowest pandemic risk level, down four localities from the previous week: Bac Kan, Dien Bien, Ha Giang, Ha Nam, Ha Noi, Hai Duong, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Quang Ninh, Son La, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Binh Dinh, Binh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Kon Tum, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, An Giang, Ben Tre, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau, Can Tho, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Kien Giang, Long An, Soc Trang, Tien Giang, HCMC, Tra Vinh, Vinh Long, and Tay Ninh.
The latest issuance of color-coded risk guidance will serve as basis for localities to design response measures depending on their individual COVID-19 situations.
The measures are responses to different threat levels, with "red" representing the highest level of COVID-19 infection, followed by "orange" (high risk), "yellow" (medium risk) and "green" (new normal), on the epidemiologic map.
At code yellow, high-risk sites namely bars, karaoke, dance clubs, massage venues - will be closed, and restrictions on large gatherings will be applied.
At code orange, additional measures will be implemented, including halting large gatherings of more than 30 people, no gathering of 10 people outside of the workplace, keeping a distance of two metres in public; reducing traffic and number of passengers on public transport vehicles; reducing people at workplace and promoting working from home; school curriculum and schedule could be adjusted, and health declarations would be required for all people in the locality./.
