Prominent among those presents at the inauguration ceremony were Việt Nam’s Ambassador to Cambodia Ngô Anh Dũng and representatives of Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce.

The supermarket, which covers an area of 7,550 m2, is located on the Munivong Boulevard, one of the biggest streets in Phnom Penh.

The US $3 project aims to introduce Vietnamese high-quality products to Cambodian consumers, contributing to the increase of trade turnover between the two countries, said the supermarket’s boss Lê Minh.

More high-quality Vietnamese supermarkets are expected to open in other four provinces in Cambodia./.
