First national-level program on children protection in cyber environment approved
VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has has approved program to protect and support children to interact in cyber environment in heathy and creative manner in the 2021-2025 period.
This is the first national-level program on children protection in cyber environment.
The program targets to protect personal information and secrets of children when they get access to information and take part in online activities.
It also aims to prevent and handle actions using the cyber network to carry out prohibited activities against children in any form as regulated by the laws.
Chilren will be equipped with knowledge and digital skills to help them know how to protect themselves, interact safely in the cyber environment, and identify and report acts internet child abuse.
All schools from primary to secondary schools shall have to educate pupils about knowledge and skills on safe participation in the cyber environment.
Vietnamese digital enterprises and digital communication developers are encouraged to develop and master technologies that protect and support children and help them interact healthily and creatively in the cyber environment./.
