First int’l airline resumes commercial flights to Da Nang
VGP - Singapore Airlines will be the first foreign airline to resume regular commercial flights to the central city of Da Nang since March 27 after two years of suspension due to COVID-19 outbreaks, according to the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center.
The airline will operate one round trip per day.
Earlier, the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam (CAAV) asked the Viet Nam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM) to issue a Notice To Airmen on the lifting of all restrictions on international flights from February 15.
Currently, air routes linking Viet Nam and European countries, Australia and the U.S. have been resumed. However, Japan and the Republic of Korea have still applied restrictions on passengers from Viet Nam as part of their efforts to prevent COVID-19 spreading./.
