This is the first time Đồng Nai sucks such a record volume of foreign funded capital.

The southern province welcomed 29 new FDI projects with the total registered capital of over US $2.3 billion in the period.

Early last month, Đồng Nai granted the business license to a US $2-billion project funded by Malaysia’s Berjaya Group. This is the biggest FDI project in the southern province so far.
Up to now, the locality has 978 valid FDI projects worth of US $17.56 billion, producing nearly 400,000 jobs for local people.

Also in the first eleven months, some 1,980 new domestic private enterprises came into existence with the total registered capital of VND 10,310 billion, raising the locality’s total number of private enterprises to 9,900.
