As many as 11 types of products gained export value of US$1 billion each including coffee, rubber, rice, vegetables, cashew, shrimp, pangasius, timber, cassava and cassava products, animal feed and raw materials and fertilizers.

Seven groups of products recorded the export value of over US$3 billion each , consisting of timber (US$16.9 billion), shrimp (US$4.3 billion), coffee (US$3.9 billion), rice (US$3.5 billion), rubber (US$3.3 billion), vegetables (US$3.3 billion) and cashews (US$3 billion).

Remarkably, in 2022, the ministry negotiated and completed procedures for the export of fresh mango and chicken meat to the Republic of Korea; pomelos and lemons to New Zealand; feathers, birds' nests and their products, milk and dairy products, durians and sweet potatoes to China; and honey to the EU.

Besides, pomelo is the seventh fresh Vietnamese fruit licensed to enter the U.S. market, following mangoes, longans, lychees, dragon fruit, rambutans, and star apples.
