VGP - An exhibition themed “Viet Nam - Destination of Cambodia in 2017” has opened in the Cambodiana hotel in Phnom Penh on Monday to mark the 50th anniversary of Viet Nam-Cambodia diplomatic ties.

Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao said the event gave visitors an overview of political, cultural, economic, and diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Cambodia.

300 photos and 100 documents will introduce the culture, landscape and people of Viet Nam during the integration and reform period. Bao said the organizing board hopes to bring Viet Nam closer to the Cambodian people to foster the traditional friendship and all-round cooperation between the two nations.

In turn, Khim Sarith said that this year, the exhibition is among major activities jointly held by both countries to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic ties, which helps forge connectivity and exchange between the two peoples.
