European Music Festival held in HN, HCM City

VGP – The 14th European Music Festival, one of the activities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of EU-Viet Nam diplomatic ties, will be held from November 18-29 in both Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City.

November 11, 2015 5:13 PM GMT+7

The 2015 European Music Festival is expected to impress Vietnamese audiences with concerts featuring famous artists from eight EU member countries - Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland and Sweden.

Nineteen concerts during the festival will also give audiences a chance to experience diverse music genres from jazz, rock to Vietnamese traditional music.

The first event will be held on November 18 at the Cong Nhan Cinema in Hanoi with the performance of Germany Brandt Brauer Frick band, and in Ho Chi Minh City with Swedish Tolvan Big Band.

The cultural exchange and community diplomacy is an important part of efforts to strengthen connectivity between the EU and Vietnamese people in all fields, said Ambassador and Head of the EU Delegation to Viet Nam Bruno Angelet.
